Better Outcomes by Better Outcomz · Sales

Understand what drives successful sales outcomes.

Sales QA usually checks whether a script was followed and the right disclosures were made. It rarely shows which behaviours, conversations and journey factors are actually associated with a customer choosing to proceed - or why similar teams achieve different results.

What Better Outcomes does here

Understand what drives successful customer outcomes.

Better Outcomes analyses connected sales interactions against the outcome you are trying to achieve - not simply whether a script was followed.

Identify the behaviours, conversations and journey factors associated with stronger performance, then use those insights to improve coaching, consistency and conversion across the wider team.

  • 01

    Outcome-led sales criteria

Configure the outcome you are assessing - a suitable product agreed, a quote converted, a renewal retained - and let Better Outcomes evaluate every connected interaction against it.

  • 02

    Behaviour and outcome comparison

Question- and section-level pass rates show which behaviours appear more often in interactions that reached the intended outcome.

  • 03

    Evidence-linked coaching

Each finding carries the AI reasoning, source evidence and confidence, so coaching conversations start from what was said rather than a score.

  • 04

    Team and journey comparison

Compare people, teams, channels and journey stages across the whole population rather than a monthly sample.

Walkthrough

One sales journey, step by step.

A retention team wants to understand why some renewal conversations end with the customer staying and others do not. Names and figures are illustrative; the screens are real.

  1. Step 1 of 4

Every renewal conversation is assessed against the outcome

The outcome is defined as a renewal agreed on suitable terms, with the required disclosures made. Better Outcomes evaluates every connected call and chat against that outcome and the team's sales framework, and shows where each journey stage is weakest.

    • Pass rate by journey stage across the whole population
    • Weak stages flagged for attention, not sampled by chance
Better Outcomes section pass-rate chart: nine journey stages with pass percentages, Documentation lowest at 51 per cent and flagged for review
  2. Step 2 of 4

Behaviours are compared across stronger and weaker outcomes

Question-level pass rates reveal which behaviours - explaining price changes clearly, confirming the customer's needs, offering the right next step - appear far more often in conversations that reached the intended outcome.

    • Question-level view across every evaluated interaction
    • Behaviours ranked by how often they are present

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Each finding shows its evidence

A team lead opens a finding and sees the AI reasoning beside the verbatim moment in the conversation, with a confidence level. Coaching starts from what was said, not from a score.

    • Reasoning and source evidence side by side
    • Reviewer can confirm, reject or investigate

  4. Step 4 of 4

Coaching is targeted and the effect is tracked

The two behaviours most associated with weaker outcomes become the coaching focus. Over the following weeks the KPI view shows whether pass rates for those behaviours - and the renewal outcome itself - are moving.

    • Overall score and completed reviews at a glance
    • AI evaluation accuracy tracked alongside

In practice

What this looks like on a real journey.

  1. Example 01

Two teams sell the same product with different results

Better Outcomes compares the behaviours present in interactions that converted against those that did not, giving sales leaders an evidence base for what to coach.

  2. Example 02

Customers drop out after the quote

Journey evidence shows where the conversation ended and what followed - a missed call-back, an unclear explanation of price - so the friction can be addressed.

  3. Example 03

Commercial and conduct standards need to co-exist

The same evaluation records whether the required disclosures were made alongside the behaviours associated with a strong commercial outcome.

AI assurance and explainability

AI you can evidence, not just trust.

The AI does not simply generate a score. It produces an assessment that a reviewer can check against the evidence used to reach it - and change if the evidence does not support it.

Your data

Customer data is not used to train public or general-purpose AI models. Products are hosted on UK infrastructure with access segregated by organisation, team and user.

Frequently asked

Questions buyers ask us first.

Does Better Outcomes replace our sales QA scorecard?
No. Your scorecard and disclosure requirements are configured as criteria alongside the commercial outcome you want to assess. Better Outcomes evaluates every connected interaction against both, so conduct and performance are evidenced together rather than in separate reviews.
Can it tell us why one team converts better than another?
It shows which behaviours and journey factors appear more often in interactions that reached the intended outcome, with the evidence behind each finding. That gives sales leaders an evidence base for coaching. It does not claim that any single behaviour causes a sale.
Will Better Outcomes increase our conversion rate?
Better Outcomes gives you evidence about what is associated with stronger outcomes and where friction occurs. Any improvement depends on how your teams act on that insight, so we do not promise a conversion uplift. We will happily show the analysis on one of your real journeys.
